Electric Vehicles and Charging Stations

In 2018, the Company unveiled an electric vehicle (EV) and charging station pilot project to gather data and better understand electric cars' impact on the energy grid. The Company has since developed service offerings that include installing charging stations strategically with the selected partners. Pelican Energy TCI expanded its renewable energy program to include Electric Vehicle charging stations marketed as ‘UORE Plus’.

• Two electric vehicle charging stations are stationed at H2O Lifestyle Resort in Long Bay, Providenciales to electrify their fleet of Teslas.
• The Ritz Carlton Hotel is to be fitted with four electric vehicle charging stations.

Together these projects help advance the Company’s renewable energy and environmental sustainability efforts throughout the Turks and Caicos Islands to build a more reliable, resilient, and sustainable energy future.

Pelican Energy TCI is also strategically transitioning its light fleet to electric vehicles to help reduce or avoid carbon emissions.
