What to Look For
  • Lights that are out, flickering, or cycling
  • Day burners (lights on during daylight)
  • Damaged fixtures, poles, or exposed wires
  • Obstructions like overgrown vegetation or leaning poles

If the issue poses an immediate safety hazard, such as sparking wires or a fallen pole, please contact us immediately at 946-4313. In the case of an emergency, call 911.

How to Report

Please provide the following details:

  • Pole number (if visible, usually located 5-6 feet from the base; numbers are written in black on a yellow strip)
  • Description of the issue
  • Your contact information (helpful for follow-up)

You can also upload a photo of the streetlight to help our technicians locate and assess the problem.

What Happens Next

Once your report is submitted:

  • Our team will verify the issue and schedule a repair.
  • For complex repairs or pole replacements, we may contact you for additional details.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and reliable lighting system across our service areas.

How To Request Additional Streetlights

We understand the importance of adequate streetlights.

Residents with concerns regarding the need for additional streetlights can contact their TCI Government elected official or the government department responsible.

The Turks and Caicos Islands Government (TCIG) is responsible for requesting the installation of streetlights along both minor and major roadways and highways. As part of this process, TCIG submits a request to Pelican Energy TCI stating the exact site, location and required strength of any additional streetlights; and also, for any decommissioning of any existing streetlight or to change, that is, increase or reduce, its luminaire strength (wattage).

Pelican Energy TCI Ltd is responsible for the installation and maintenance of streetlights, poles, luminaires and related hardware.
