Claudia Been-Munnings joined Pelican Energy TCI as Director of Human Resources (HR) in 2016.
She serves as a key member of the senior management team, with responsibility for directing the company’s human resource strategy, while promoting an employee-oriented organization culture that emphasizes continuous improvement, teamwork, engagement, high performance and excellence.
With nearly two decades of experience in Human Resources Management, Mrs. Been-Munnings is an expert in recruitment, leadership, training, development, benefits, and compensation of employees.
She is also well versed in public and private sector operations and Immigration and Labour relations within the Turks and Caicos Islands. Mrs. Been-Munnings has led all aspects of human resource functions during her tenures within the hospitality and aviation sectors. In the latter industry, she gained experience in the effective and successful development and implementation of HR and training systems in a highly regulated work environment.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica and has numerous HR-related certificates.
