Fuel factor rates for September show an increase and decrease across some service territories.
Here’s what to expect on this month's power bill:
- Providenciales, North Caicos and Middle Caicos: A 6% increase to $0.1533 per kilowatt hour (kWh).
- Grand Turk and Salt Cay: A 3% decrease to $0.1450 per kWh.
- South Caicos: The fuel factor for this island will be available soon. Last month (August), the rate increased by 4% to $0.1609 per kWh.
The fuel factor rate rises and falls with global fuel prices. We remain committed to keeping you informed on changes.
